Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court further extended the foreign travel ban imposed on the former Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka till May 2 when he failed to appear before Court today.
The Court also issued a notice, summoning him to appear on May 2.
Earlier Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court prevented the former Central Bank Governor from leaving the country till April 18 taking into consideration a request made by former Governor Rajith Keerthi Tennakoon under section 136(1)(a) of the Code of Criminal Procedure Act of 1979.
