Several international TV channels including sports channels on PEO TV have become unavailable due to difficulties in making outward remittances.
Due to this, the telecast of the Indian Premier League has also become unavailable across PEO TV.
Most of these TV channels which have become unavailable are displaying a notice in Sinhalese, Tamil and English explaining reasons for the unavailability of the channel and apologizing to the consumers due to the inconvenience caused.
The notice states:
“Dear customer, the channel partner has temporarily stopped transmission owing to the difficulties faced by us in making outward remittances due to reasons beyond our control. We apologize for the inconvenience caused and are making our best efforts to restore our services as soon as possible”
