The Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) has decided to resort to trade union action tomorrow (31) as a mark of protest against the transfer procedures to be followed by the Health Ministry.
They have called the Government and the Ministry to stop the proposed transfer system which they claim is unfair for their membership.
The Association said that in the event the proposed transfer system is implemented, the Ministry should be held responsible if there is a disruption of health services in hospitals.
The GMOA wants the government and Health Ministry to draw a transfer plan after following a process of consultation.
