The grade five scholarship examination held this year will not be held again despite appeals by parents to re-conduct the exam.
Examination Commissioner General Amith Jayasundara addressing a press conference today said a Committee which studied the issue of some questions leaking had held there was no necessity to have the examination again.
However students will get full marks for three questions that are believed to have leaked.
Parents of some of the students had earlier demanded that the examination should be held again as eight questions had leaked.
But the parents were told to provide necessary evidence.
