The Speaker announced in the Parliament today that MP Dr. Harsha De Silva has been nominated to serve in the Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE) by the Committee of Selection.
MP Dr. Harsha De Silva has been nominated to fill the vacancy occurred due to the fact that the MP Ranjan Ramanayake has ceased to be a Member of Parliament.
