Eleven houses at Kelipanawela Aswedduma village, in the Koslanda area of Haldummulla Divisional Secretariat, have been destroyed due to a landslide, with seven houses completely covered in soil and all property destroyed.
The disaster was triggered by heavy rains and high winds. Residents affected are seeking government relief.
