Archbishop of Colombo Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith visited the Kapungoda area in Negombo today to look into steps being taken to mitigate the environmental damage caused to the area coast due to the X-Press Pearl disaster.
The Cardinal was accompanied by members of the area clergy as well as environmentalists led by Ven. Pahiyangala Ananda Sagara Thera.
