Renowed cartoonists in the print and web media have joined hands to create a vivid array of cartoons to mark World Elephant Day which fell today (12). Accordingly, a series of cartoons drawn by these artists were exhibited in several districts in the country today. The exhibition will also be held tomorrow (13).
The exhibition aims to draw the attention of authorities to their continued lethargy towards elephant conservation efforts and managing human-elephant conflict, event organisers said.
