The Movement for People's Struggle held a protest yesterday in front of the Fort Railway Station.

The protesters made several demands, including the immediate release of Inter University Students' Federation (IUSF) Convener Wasantha Mudalige, repealing the Prevention of Terrorism Act, reducing taxes and electricity bills.
