Sri Lanka's vaccination drive against COVID-19 kicked off today at several key hospitals in the Western Province.
Frontline health workers and triforces personnel were the first to recieve the Oxford AstraZeneca COVISHIELD vaccine this morning.
The doses that they received were part of a consignment of 500, 000 doses of the vaccine that was gifted to Sri Lanka yesterday by the Indian Government.
