Health Trade Union Federation staged a silent protest in front of the Colombo National Hospital today (18) demanding a scientific closure of the country to fight the escalating pandemic situation.
Meanwhile All Ceylon Ayurveda Health Service Union staged a protest in front of the Ministry of Indigenous Medicine demanding, among others, that Rs 7500 COVID allowance be paid to Ayurvedic staff as well.
