Indian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Gopal Baglay called on Foreign Minister Dinesh Gunawardena yesterday at the Foreign Ministry, the Ministry said.
“A lengthy discussion was held on the control of the COVID-19 pandemic and the provision of the Indian vaccine to the people of both countries with special attention paid to the longstanding bilateral relations,” a statement from the Ministry said.
The meeting came in the wake of the UN Resolution on Sri Lanka scheduled to be taken up for voting at the Human Rights Council meeting on Monday.
