Deputy Commissioner and Excise Department’s Spokesman, Channa Weerakkodi told Times Online that all liquor sales outlets and wine stores are instructed to be close on Sunday February 04, in view of the 76th Independence Day celebrations.
He elaborated that they have instructed that the closure of the shops should commence from the time of closure from February 3 to time of re-opening on Monday February 05.
