The Litro Gas Company has announced plans to reduce the prices of gas with effect from today, a senior official said.
The Chairman of the Company, Muditha S.G Peiris said that the price reduction would be effective from midnight.
Accordingly the price reduction of a 12.5 kg gas cylinder would be Rs 201. A 12.5 kg cylinder costing Rs 4610 would only cost Rs 4.409 . A five Kg gas cylinder which cost Rs 1,850 would be Rs 1,770 with a reduction of Rs 80 . A 2.3 kg gas cylinder too wolud be reduced by Rs 38 .The cylinder costing Rs 825 would be reduced to Rs 822.
