The magisterial inquiry against former Defence Secretary Hemasiri Fernando and former Inspector General of Police Pujith Jayasundara, for failing to take measures to prevent the Easter Sunday massacre despite receiving intelligence reports prior to attacks, was concluded by Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court today (27).
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) informed Colombo Acting Magistrate Sanjaya Gamage that a case against Mr. Fernando and Mr. Jayasundara is heard before a special trial-at-bar at the Colombo High Court.
