A suspect wanted in connection with the triple murder at Middeniya was arrested at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) at Katunayake while trying to leave for Dubai, the police said.
The 23-year-old young man named Pasindu Sanjana, a resident of the Agulandeniya area of Katuwana had arrived at the airport to board a flight to Dubai but was picked up before he could board the flight.
The man was taken into CID custody for interrogation.
So far ten suspects have been arrested in connection with the Middeniya shooting on February 18 in which one man and two children.
