More than 50,000 electricity consumers have been affected due to power break downs caused by adverse weather conditions, Power and Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekara said today.
The Minister told Parliament that as many as 14,000 electricity breakdowns have been reported in the last 24 hours.
He said CEB workers are currently in the process of restoring power supplies.
