Sri Lanka Navy (SLN), nabbed three suspects with over 16 kilos of Kerala cannabis during special raids carried out in Uduththurei, Jaffna and Uppukulam, Mannar yesterday.
The street value of these stocks of Kerala cannabis is believed to be around Rs. 05 million, the Navy said.
According to the SLN sources, the accused identified as residents of Point Pedro and Mannar, aged 25 and 40, were handed over to the Palei and Mannar Police for onward legal proceedings. The entire operations were conducted adhering to healthcare guidelines.
