The Navy seized Kerala Cannabis weighing 165kg and 400g off the Northern Sea Area.
During a search operation, the Navy seized Kerala Cannabis packed in 75 parcels worth over Rs. 54 million in the sea area of Veththalakeni, Jaffna.
The parcels were discovered in a dinghy boat with a suspect.
The suspect held in the operation is a resident of Mulliyan, aged 36. The suspect, along with narcotics and the dinghy, was handed over to the Maradankeni Police for onward legal action.
