Dr. Najith Indika, a medical professional has been appointed Director General of the President’s Media Division (PMD) by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
Dr. Indika earned his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine,University of Colombo, and has served as a doctor and medical officer in various government hospitals over the past five years.
He is a past pupil of Ranna Maha Vidyalaya, Hambantota, and Royal College, Colombo.
The former DG Mr Dhanushka Ramanayake stepped down yesterday.
