Nine school students injured in wasp attack
Nine school children were admitted to the Gampola Hospital yesterday (25) after being attacked by wasps at a school in the Gurukele area.
Police said four male students and five female students were admitted to hospital after being stung by wasps. One female student was later transferred to the Peradeniya Hospital while the others were treated at the Gampola Hospital.
The injured students are aged 6, 7 and 9 years.
