One dead, 15 injured after bus and truck collide
A Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) bus heading from Ambepussa to Alawwa collided with container truck carrying a cement load in the Thulhiriya area this morning (August 2) leaving one dead and 15 injured.
The injured are currently undergoing treatment at the Warakapola Base Hospital.
The driver of the truck has been arrested over the accident and further investigations are underway by Warakapola Police regarding the incident.
