Only 50 guests will be permitted to attend a wedding from midnight tonight, Army Commander Shavendra Silva stated.
Earlier, the maximum number of guests that could be invited to a wedding was 150, but this has now been further reduced.
Meanwhile, the prevailing inter-provincial travel restrictions too will be applied strictly from midnight today. Accordingly, only essential workers and health workers will be allowed to cross provinces.
