Ahead of Sinhala -Tamil New year, the Parliament is to convene from April 5 to 9 with allocating adequate time for oral questions from Opposition, it was decided at the Parliamentary Committee on Affairs chaired by Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardana.
Accordingly, Parliament will convene on April 5 from 10.00 am to 4.30 pm and time will be allotted to give full opportunity for MPs to raise questions.
