A police constable who provided the T56 ammunition for the gunmen involved in the Middeniya triple murder has been arrested.
The 36-year-old PC is attached to the Weeraketiya police and has been arrested for aiding and abetting the murder.
The suspect had provided 12 rounds of T56 live ammunition to those who carried out the murder, Police said.
This brings the total number of arrests connected to the Middeniya triple murder to seven.
