Rains expected today as well

Showers or thundershowers are predicted for multiple areas in the island today as well (17) after 1:00 pm, the Department of Meteorology said.

Northern, North-central, Eastern and Uva Provinces will have occasional showers.

Moderately heavy rainfall over 75mm is likely at certain parts of Northern, North-central and Eastern Provinces.
