Rakhitha Rajapakshe granted bail
SLPP Parliamentarian Wijedasa Rajapakshe’s son Rakhitha Rajapakshe who was arrested for an accident has been given bail by Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court today.
He was released under a personal bail worth Rs 100,000.
Earlier today Mr.Rajapakshe was arrested by Welikada Police over an accident that occurred in Welikada, Rajagiriya last night, police said.
Four persons were injured when their car collided head-on with the jeep driven by Mr. Rajapakshe. All the injured persons are currently admitted to Colombo National Hospital.
