The Supreme Court today held that the decision by the Samagi Jana Balawegaya to expel Ministers Harin Fernando and Manusha Nanayakkara from the party was legally valid.
As a result of the Supreme Court judgement, the two former SJB MPs will lose their Parliamentary seats and cabinet portfolios as well.
Earlier, two Ministers had filed an application challenging in the Court their expulsion from the SJB.
