President Ranil Wickremesinghe has expressed his condolences to the Indian Government and the families of the victims of the train collision in Odisha, India.
The President said his thoughts and prayers are with the victims’ families in this difficult time and wished those injured a speedy recovery, President’s Media Division said.
A Sri Lanka Air Force Bell 212 helicopter belonging to the No. 72 squadron has crashed into the Madhuru Oya reservoir this morning, Air FOrce Media Spokesman Eranda Geeganage said.
