President Ranil Wickremesinghe will depart this afternoon (20) for a two-day official visit to India.
During his absence, several ministers have been appointed to oversee ministries under the President.
Accordingly, State Ministers Pramitha Bandara Tennakoon will serve as the Minister of Defence & Shehan Semasinghe as the Minister of Finance, Economic Stabilization and National Policy, the President's office said.
