Social Media Activist Sepal Amarasighe who was arrested by the CID over alledged controleversal statements regarding the tooth relic was remanded till january 10,2023.
The activist who was arrested yesterdayrom Boralesgamuwa by a CID team following complaints made regarding his comments, was produced before the Colombo Adiitional Megistrate today.
He had made the remarks about the sacred tooth relics over his Youtube channel. His remarks were referred to in Parliament and some calling that he be arrested and questioned immediately.
