South Korea has donated computer equipment to the Sri Lanka Police in order to promote digitalisation, to strengthen cyber investigation capabilities and to activate the issuance of criminal records.
The ceremony to handover the equipment was attended by Miyon Lee, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea and the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Rohan Premarathne of the Criminal Investigation Department.
The Korean government believes that these donations will be helpful for the Sri Lanka Police Department to maintain an efficient service of rendering peace and justice to the general public, and renew the bilateral relationship between Korean and Sri Lanka.
