The Southern Expressway between Pinnaduwa and Imaduwa continues to be obstructed due to a landslide that occurred last night.
Seven Police Constables of the Special Task Force (STF) have hospitalized upon injuries.
"A tree had fallen last night, and police officials had gone to inspect and remove it from the area. That's when the landslide had occurred" said our reporter in Aluthgama.
The Road Development Authority (RDA) request
the public to use alternative routes.
All vehicles traveling from Kottawa to Hambantota could exit from Pinnaduwa and re-enter from Imaduwa, said the RDA.
