Chief of Staff of Indian Army, General Manoj Mukund Naravane met with President Gotabaya Rajapaksa yesterday (13).
General Naravane said that India expects the stability of the neighbouring countries for the security of the region.
He said his visit to SL has brought back memories of the time he served in the 4th mile post area in Trincomalee representing the Indian Peace Keeping Force (IPKF).
President while reminiscing the training and the experience he gained in India during his military service, expressed his happiness and appreciation on the leadership gained by Sri Lankan Army officers through Indian military training.
