State Minister Arundhika Fernando has tested positive for COVID-19 turning to be the seventh Parliamentarian to be infected.
Mr Fernando was recently on a TV show with MP Wasantha Bandara who has also confirmed as a COVID-19 positive case.
He also addressed a press conference on Tuesday.
The first to be infected was State minister Dayasiri Jayasekara followed by Rauff Hakeem, Vasudeva Nanayakkara, Piyal Nishantha and Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi.
Mr Jayasekara, Mr Hakeem and Mr Nanayakkara have now recovered.
