Wanathawilluwa Police say that a female student of Bandaranayakepura College, Wanathawilluwa has died after being hospitalised due to falling sick while sitting for the term examination of the school.
The deceased has been identified as a 14-year-old girl from Katupuliyankulam, Wanathawilluwa studying in Grade 9 at Bandaranayakepura College.
The student was first admitted to the Wanathawilluwa Hospital and later transferred for further treatment to the Puttalam Base Hospital where she had died.
