Suspect arrested in connection with Panadura shooting
One suspect has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of an individual in Panadura North on January 25.
The 32-year-old victim was shot dead by two gunmen on a motorbike as he was traveling in a three-wheeler.
The arrested suspect had traveled in the same three-wheeler at the time of the shooting.
Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said three police teams, including one made up of police intelligence officers were investigating the murder. The arrested suspect is currently being interrogated.
