Three COVID deaths, total toll increases to 557

News

Three persons, aged 79 and two 64 year olds died from COVID pneumonia and other complications on Thursday (25), the Government Information Department said.

The deceased are residents of Passara, Kandy and Niriella. Yesterday’s three deaths increased the total death toll from the virus to 557. Another 271 persons were tested positive for COVID yesterday.
