Three persons involved in the robbery of cash from an ATM machine in a private bank in Madurankuliya have been arrested by the Police.
They had removed Rs 10.5 million from the ATM machine on October 8.
The Anuradhapura Crimes Division arrested the suspects on Tuesday (Oct 17) .
Two of the suspects were persons involved in a security firm transporting cash for ATM machines in banks while the other was an electrician.
Police recovered Rs 9.2 million in their possession along with the clothing used during the robbery, a helmet, and spray paint tin used to spray on the camera of the CCTV camera.
