Two persons were injured in a shooting at Nagalagam Veediya in Grandpass last night.
Police said two assailants who arrived on a motorbike had opened fire on the victims before fleeing the scene.
The two victims were rushed to the Colombo National Hospital. They have been identified as residents of Grandpass aged 22 and 28 years.
A motive for the shooting is yet to be established and Grandpass Police are conducting investigations to arrest the suspects.
