Two youths were killed in a road accident at Polwatta Junction in Pannipitiya this morning (2).
A motorcar coming from Thalawathugoda had collided with a motorbike plying from Pannipitiya while attempting to turn towards the Polkotuwa road.
One person died on the spot while the other died after being admitted to the Kalubowila Hospital.
The deceased have been identified as Kasun Bandara, 26, of Malalgoda, Yatiyantota and Prabodha Madushan, 25, of Meegoda.
