Githmal Benoy Dilshan, a 33-year-old accomplice of underworld figure ‘Mathugama Shan’ with warrants for murder, extortion, and drug trafficking, was apprehended in Dubai and was extradited to Sri Lanka early this morning (29).
He was taken into custody upon arrival by a team of CID officers stationed at the airport.
He was subsequently handed over to the Matugama Police Headquarters for further investigation.
