Rex Kodippily, a veteran actor in the cinema history of Sri Lanka, passed away this afternoon.
He was 85 at his demise.
Rex was known for playing the roles of villains throughout his career in the cinema field.
He made his film debut in 1971 and was honoured with the Janabhimani Honorary Award in 2019.
