Visakha and Royal lead in Grade 5 scholarship exam cut off marks

Visakha Vidyalaya and Royal College in Colombo led in Grade 5 Scholarship examination cut off marks (194 and 193) that were released by the Education Ministry on Friday.

Royal College (193), Dharmaraja College, Kandy (192) and Ananda College, Colombo (191), Maliyadeva Boys School in Kurunegala (191) and Kingswood College, Kandy (190) were leading in cut off marks under the Sinhala medium boys’ schools category.

Visakha Vidyalaya, Colombo (194), Devi Balika Vidyalaya, Colombo (191), Maliyadeva Girls School, Kurunegala (191), Mahamaya Girls School, Kandy (189) and Sirimavo Bandaranaike Girls School, Colombo (189) were leading in Sinhala medium girls’ school category.

Seevali College in Ratnapura (186), Taxila College, Horana (185) and Maliyadeva Model School, Kurunegala (185) were leading in mixed school category.

Royal College Colombo (187), D.S.Senanayake College, Colombo (179), and Hartley College, Point Pedro (178) led in Tamil medium boys’ school category.

Muslim Ladies College, Colombo (181), Methodist Girls High School, Point Pedro 174) and Vembadi Girls High School, Jaffna (173) were Tamil medium girls schools with the highest cut off marks.

Highlands College, Hatton (181), Muttur Central College, Muttur (171) and Cambridge College, Kotagala (168) had the highest cut off marks in Tamil medium mixed school category.
