The case filed against Parliamentarian Hirunika Premachandra over a youth abduction case has been postponed until December 03 by the Colombo High Court.
Ms. Premachandra and eight others were accused of involvement in the abduction and assault of an employee at the Dematagoda public market, identified as Amila Priyanka, in 2016.
The other suspects in the case are serving imprisonment terms after they had pleaded guilty over the charges levelled against them.
However, a case was filed at the High Court against the Parliamentarian alone since she had not pleaded guilty over the offence.
