A case filed against Parliamentarian Rohitha Abeygunawardena over the unlawful acquisition of assets has been fixed for further hearing on November 28 by the Colombo High Court.
During today's hearing, witnesses appearing for the prosecution gave evidence before court. The case has been filed by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption.
Abeygunawardena has been accused of unlawfully acquiring assets worth Rs 41.2 million between 2004 and 2006.
