An accomplice of wanted drug criminal ‘Welle Suranga’ has been arrested by Special Task Force (STF) personnel last night.
The arrest was carried out while the suspect was in Sri Jayawardenapura.
The suspect identified as ‘Lahiru’ is reported to be the chief supplier of narcotics in Maligawatta.
STF personnel had seized two swords, two grams of heroin and cannabis which were in the possession of the suspect.
He will be produced before the Maligawatta courts today.
