The All Ceylon Makkal Congress (ACMC) issuing a special release has welcomed the Supreme Courts verdict to stay the dissolution gazette.
"This is a great victory for democracy" Leader of the ACMC, Rishad Bathiudeen was quoted saying in the release.
Incidentally, the ACMC was amongst those who forwarded petitions against the dissolution of Parliament.
