Additional buses will be deployed from today for the convenience of passengers to return from their hometowns, the National Transport Commission said.
Accordingly the special bus service will be in place until April 23.
Chairman of the Commission MAP Hemachandra was quoted by local media as saying NTC officials have been deployed in Monaragala, Ampara, Kaduruwela, Nuwara-Eliya, Kandy, Galle and Matara to monitor the service.
