The Colombo High Court today (Oct 28) postponed hearings of a money laundering case against Parliamentarian Mahindananda Aluthgamage for January 16 and 17 next year.
Aluthgamage has been accused of purchasing a house worth Rs 27 million in Kynsey Road, Colombo 07 using funds alleged to have been acquired through illegal means.
High Court judge Aditya Patabendige ordered the witnesses in the case to appear before court when the case is taken up for hearing next year.
The case has been filed by the Attorney General.
